Design is a problem-solving method and so much more than that. It’s a state of mind. It’s an approach to a problem. It’s how you differentiate from your competition and create a memorable experience for your users that leaves them with a feeling that truly connects them to your service or product. Good design is a symbol, that waves like a flag as people immediately identify you and your company and your associated beliefs and values.

Design is so many things, executed in many different ways, but the function is always the same. When it comes to User Interface design I keep the same principles as I do when I design anything, including code — but we'll get to that later.

Think more, design less.

Many companies assume this, but in the end, I observe that many do not practice the "less is more" approach. For myself, it's a part of my DNA. I believe designing with less in mind — not minimalist, just the elimination of the unnecessary. Concentrate on the essential aspects, and the products are not burdened with non-essentials. Back to purity, back to simplicity.

The everlong quest for perfection

I care more than I know. I've found that when you care, you will spend more time on learning and execution and that will produce better results. My design is merged from all principles from the UX stage and the above UI principles transformed into something that is meaningful, memorable and almost invisible.

I beleive that like a great business plan is nothing without master execution, a great design mockup is nothing, without careful consideration to UI from the UX research and extreme dedication to details.

Prototyping animation

Animations in UI design is the balance of technical functionality and visual elements to create an experience that is not only functional but also significantly usable and adaptable to user needs.

All user interactions and animations based user behaviour I create are architected in an application named Flinto or Framer.
